Yes, that is a solution.  What do you have as init string if
you don't use ATZ?  I preferred to change the code rather than
use a silly init string.  BTW, do you have this same problem
with BT 2.59?  I was wishing I had the source code to their
version to see how they solved the problem!  ROFL, looks like
they should be looking at mine (will be 3.06 I guess).
