I have never really had the pleasure to watch one of my Momma Guppies give
birth before - It always happened when I wasn't watching.
 .
This time I removed one of my Really FATTTTTTT Momma's and put her into a
small 2 gallon Gumball tank. It has lots of colored marbles that are
suppose to look like gumballs ... but I have been reading that when they
give birth the babies sort of drop to the bottom of the tank ..so I
figured this way with the marbles ..the babies could hide inbetween them.
 .
Now I have a question about the way the Momma is acting ... she is sort of
swishing her whole body back and forth not just her fins but her body ..My
Dad came over and said he say his doing the same thing right before it
gave birth .. Is this some way of them helping the process of giving birth
 to the babies?
