Andrew only had a very small subset of fidonet echos.  No FIDOTEST.  I picked
OTHERNETS.  The downloaded bluewave packet had about 760+ messages.  But there
was a new problem.  All the message dates were:

  "ddd, nn Dec 00 00:00"

..where the only things that changed were ddd for the day of the week, and nn
for the date.

Then... there was another problem.  I accidentally hit the Space-Bar and the
BBS disconnected me.  But when I tried a reconnect, and entered my login
credentials, the BBS would report "Already logged in" and disconnect me.  I
waited about 15 minutes and even pulled the internet connection too.  But when
I tried to reconnect, I got the same "Already logged in" and it would
disconnect me.  :(    I have now waited over an hour, and the same thing is
happening.

I wanted to test a QWK packet, but I guess this little experiment won't work
at that Fat Sandwich. :(

I'll give him a shout about the above session problem.
