OK, I'm beginning to understand what you mean now.  I'm far too polite to
suggest that you could have explained yourself a little more clearly
though.

understand why anybody would even consider running their modem at 57600
while their serial port was locked at 38400, I'd prefer to call it a simple
oversight.
