Hi everyone,

It's encouraging to see so many RC's popping in!  Glad
you could join.  :)

As I mentioned to Thom, very few of you were involved
in drafting our proposal (although all were welcome).
A good share of that may have been a simple lack of
communication, though I suspect some of you didn't take
my netmail requests seriously.  ;-)

At any rate, we are here now, and I woould invite you to
offer comments and suggestions on the proposal.  For
myself, I would be willing to compromise is some area
to ensure at least a positive referendum vote.  Personally,
I think we have a fair text to work with, though some have
said the quora is too low.

Once Ward posts that he feels a sufficient number of RC's
are present, I'll post the proposal (if someone doesn't beat
me too it). I would prefer waiting so as not to clog up the
echo with multiple copies.

Also, I have been ill with the flu, but will try to stay on top
of things in here at least.  :)
