   Mike Milled edited the supposed packets he posted here so you can't =
trust what he posted.  He claimed though that the traffic is directed to =
the DNS port not the NetBIOS port.  Mike also edited the source of the =
packets so there is no way to know where they come from.  All we have is =
Mike's claim they are from Microsoft.

     I believe that Windows tries to directly contact the host for a =
Netbios name if DNS
  fails.  I've seen this in other situations.   I don't know if there's =
a way to turn off
  the Netbios portion of name resolution.
