TCP/IP Without going commercial, there's the "Watcom TCP/IP" stack for DOS
as I recall; never actually tried it, but it's sitting on the file

FTP is *not* the way to go for backups - if you want a TCP/IP solution,
you'd be better off using NFS to mount the file system remotely; I am not
aware of a freely available NFS client or server for DOS.
How are the two machines networked at the moment? One assumes that DOS is
on the client, what about the server? What sort of networking software
*and* hardware?
