You may well laugh, but it appears that the latest US/Canada SDL is killing
USR's flash-ROM chips like flies at the moment.  Mine happened to flash OK,
whilst poor old Russell managed to annihilate 60% of his Courier collection
in just one fell swoop.  3 out of his 5 are now fucked, and it appears that
they'll need to go back to the US for replacement of the flash-ROM chip.

I now await the expected snide comments from Rod and Paul...
