TR> Inside ACORN
TR> The Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now
TR> (ACORN) is an organization that is tailor-made for Barack
TR> Obama. It is community based, it is ultra-liberal, and it
TR> will do and say just about anything to achieve its
TR> political ends.
Except things that are illegal. And if one of their employees
does commit illegal acts they turn that person in.
TR> ACORN has drawn questions regarding its
TR> operating practices since its inception in 1970, but now
And yet not one of the accusations has been proven against them.
TR> the 350,000-member (their number) organization has been
TR> caught up in a nationwide scandal for its illegal voter
TR> registration practices.
Um... that's libel. They do not participate in illegal voter
registration practices. Some of their employees do, but that is
a fraud against Acorn, since the fale registrations are almost
all caught and they signers do not go out and vote on them.
TR> In recent weeks there have been myriad charges filed
TR> against the organization from all around the country. In
Charges? Or accusations? Anyone can accuse, what charges have
been filed?
TR> Las Vegas, ACORN offices were raided after complaints over
TR> thousands of fraudulent registration applications were
TR> submitted by ACORN workers and volunteers. The Michigan
TR> Secretary of State is on record noting that ACORN submitted
TR> "a sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent
TR> applications." Other states that are taking action against
TR> ACORN include New Mexico, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina,
TR> Missouri and Indiana: not coincidentally, these are all
TR> battleground states. Furthermore, the FBI has opened an
TR> investigation into the group.
None of those states have "taken action against Acorn". They
have opened investigations. Acorn responded to the
investigations by pointing out that they had flagged the false
registrations and turned them over to election officials.
TR> The scope of the fraud clearly shows that it is a
TR> systematic campaign.
Since there cannot be election fraud until the election there is
no such election fraud. Since the scope of the fraud consists of
a few people playing games with voter registration any fraud is
not on the part of Acorn.
Anyone with a functioning brain should realize you have to
present ID to vote. Unless someone's name really is Donald Duck
or Mickey Mouse that person is not going to get to vote. Since
Acorn is trying to get people to vote there is absolutely no
incentive for Acorn to submit registrations with obviously fake
names on them. They submit them because the law says they have
to. The are not allowed to pick and choose which registrations
they turn in.
If a republican comes up to one of their workers, wearing a
McCain campaign button, and fills out a registration form, the
worker has to turn it in.
Got it?
TR> And it is no GOP witch-hunt as the knee-jerk leftist
TR> reaction fired off by the media suggested in recent days. A
It is a GOP witch hunt. It was back when the New Mexico US
Attorney, Iglesias was told to investigate the same sort of
fraud, and he found it was not real. He was fired for reporting
the truth, that the fraud didn't exist.
That is the GOP witch hunt that is starting all over again.
TR> look at just who is filing the complaints and pressing the
TR> charges readily demonstrates that the outrage is
TR> nonpartisan.
Why does it take outrage to investigate when there is a
complaint? They investigate. As of yet, they have not found one
charge they can bring against Acorn.
TR> These crimes are endemic to the organization
TR> as a whole and undermine our republic. The ACORN
TR> organization must be held accountable from top to bottom.
There is zero evidence of that. Again, this is libel.
...
TR> Only so many Democrats can be registered in any given area,
TR> and when that limit is reached, ACORN’s minions sign up
TR> dead people, the Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line and Mickey
TR> Mouse.
And since none of them will be allowed to vote, there is no
incentive for Acorn to sign them up. They don't just want
registrations, they want voters.
TR> Homeless people are next, and since they stay in
TR> various places, they can vote once for each non-home. Given
You can vote once for any non-home you want to claim. That is,
if you are not caught. Since picture ID is now required your
chances of being caught have increased quite a bit.
