V34+ was essentially disabled when I started (ie first week),
because the ROMs didn't support V34+.  Yes, the other tests
you mention should be done.  Are you likely to call from work
in the next 2 weeks?  That may solve the problem in which case
there's no need to stuff around with working out a time for me
