There is no different codepage in full screen or windowed mode.

I found no way, i use solid command line knowledge.  ;)

First you have to prepare two codepage settings in autoexec.bat:

  mode con codepage prepare=((437) C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\ega.cpi)
  mode con codepage prepare=((850) C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\ega.cpi)

In the next step you set the default codepage.

  mode con codepage select=437|850

(you must restart the system to get the changes work)

Later in the DOS box you can ask and change the codepage setting:

  mode con codepage [/status]

  mode con codepage select=nnn      (nnn = codepage number)
