I a bit different, as the bulk of my sailing has been in racing.  
Pleasure cruising in the bay is nice, but even then I try to 
make the boat go as fast as possible.  
Granted, it makes for more work doing so, but there's something 
about having everything dialed in.  Though it sounds like hard 
work, I actually find it a lot of fun.  Besides, the skipper 
that I usually race with on Thursdays has pretty much the 
same attitude.  For both of us, relaxing is _still_ making 
the boat go as fast as possible!  
One of these days I will have to actually go on a cruise and 
see if that could be fun, too.  Especially if it's somewhere 
like Nassau or Hawaii!
