Hello Bob,

 BB> I see a problem the way you have this %1 can only be: ("HELP" or
 BB> "/HELP"). The user can input: help helP heLp Help . . .

 BB> What you need to do is:

 BB> if "%@UPPER[%1]" =="HELP" .or. "/HELP"=="%@UPPER[%1]" .or.
 BB> "%@UPPER[%1]"=="-HELP" %=

 BB> The above converts the %1 INPUT to ALL UPPER Case.
 BB> It does NOT change the Value of %1.

 BB> Try having %1 be "HeLp", see what happends.

I tried:

    sched HeLp
    sched hElP

etc., and didn't have any problems, but I can't see anything wrong with
incorporating your suggestion.

           Thanks ... Gerald
