not much help here, but I am looking for the very same thing, and found
Watcom to be a likely candidate (as far as I've heard also the only
compiler whose Dos version accepts pmode assembler), and there's also the
GNU C Compiler for OS/2, but that didn't seem to work here (maybe a newer
version? I used version 2.something) There's also a Dos port of GCC
(DJGPP), so you could then use more or less the same (type of) compiler
under dos/os2/linux/.... There probably are more, but since Watcom seems to
be a nice choice for Dos, you might give the OS2 version a try. I really
wouldn't know what to expect when porting win95 code to os2, as I've only
recently started with C(++) myself.
GCC is free; I got it off some cheap free-/shareware cd, but then again,
that version didn't seem to work ok. Good luck finding a site that has it,
but I sure as hell couldn't find any os2 version. However, supposing you
DID find a site with OS2-GCC, DJGPP for Dos could be found at
ftp.coast.net:/SimTel/vendors/djgpp/v2xxxxx (all "v2" directories
are about 30Mb together; then you've got -everything-, probably more than
you need.)
The same to you,
