KR> special price to tml users - 16 meg 72 pin simms 8 bit no parity 70ns.

 KR> $205.00

RB> You can never win, can you, $320 last week $205 this week but the 8meg
RB> ones went back up and then down lower than before, all in one week.

RB> Whats the bet, that the 16meg price will be higher again next week

RB> You just have to get it WHEN YOU NEED IT and be happy with that.

 RB> I payed $900 each for 4 x 16meg simms in '94 and that was a bargain at
 RB> the time.

according to "computer reseller" the current prices are due to
over production of ram chips and lower than expected us sales of pcs. a lot
of the big pc manufacturers have dumped their stockpiles. there is a
difference of philosophies about what happens next, some think that, when
the current glut is over, prices will go back up, others think that the
current situation is stable. most, however, think that current prices are
about the bottom.

btw, stange but true, 30 pin 4 meg simms are now more expensive than 72 pin.
