There are other stats screens (like a more detailed connection message
incl. EQM rates, and a separate command for *current* EQM level), but as I
said it's not all as "neat" as the USR's output.

We have 144Mb in a SPARCserver 20/612 MP running Oracle7, and a total of
around 279Mb virtual memory (thereabouts). We also have a couple of
consultants working for us, who decided that they needed to load a couple
of data structures in their entirety into memory. That meant we had to
increase the amount of virtual memory (while the machine was running, mind
you) and watch their *single* process grow to occupy around 747Mb of
available virtual memory. There was only 12Mb free. :-(

Other administrative machines have >256Mb in real memory on the
motherboard (but they're big SPARCserver 1000 MP systems, not like our
modest 20/612 MP, which we can only take to 512Mb real memory).

Working with these beasties gives me the shits with my 8Mb RAM PC, so I
want 32Mb in my new one (initially, anyway). Even my work PC has 16Mb RAM.

Cheers..
