You should understand that there is a distinct possibility that the private 
messages areas are either a mistake in routing or numbering orthe sysop has a 
misconfig or a combo of both.
Many people do not understand the difference between their private message 
area and an echo area and may be stuck in one sending messages to other 
people.
Usually a short note explaining the difference and a note to send a message 
to their sysop does the trick.
