yep. In temperate climates, it is a bitch to keep the temp of
the fermenter at 90 deg F during most of the year. It still works
a 72, but half fast. like making yogurt by the barrel.
Then too, there is the storage problem, in that compression to a
dense liquid state takes unreal pressure levels a homesteader is
not too keen on having around the place.
Finally, there's not enough waste from a family of four unless
they have livestock to get enough methane to meet cooking needs.
And, if you have livestock, then you probly buy grain at the feed
mill, for them, and you might just as well buy propane, if you
consider how much petrochemicals went into producing the grain in
the first place.
