Uncommon? [Awwcommon ] Well, it happened to me too. When these Wild AG's
showed up, not more than 3 months went by before they laid 5 infertile eggs,
4 more in a month later. I was beginning to think that being unsettled
caused the female to lay eggs and the male to not mate ...

BTW, enjoyed your article in Beakers! the article was informative and unique
to me. Have you submitted it to Bird Talk or others? Wonder if your other
(smaller?) birds would reuse some of the nests instead of nestboxes?
