Twitter is for when Facebook goes down.  Last week, it was hilarious to watch 
all the Tweets coming in tagged with "facebook"  as thousands of
idiot users 
thought it was something wrong with their own computer for the approx. half 
hour it was down.  People, just check Twitter and you'll see that EVERYONE 
was having Facebook trouble!  :-D
