I'm still splitting my sides after reading Dave Hatch's comment - "the
modems are fine, as long as you keep the manufacturer away from 'em". 
ROFL!!  ;-)

Seriously, I have no doubt that in general USRs are damn fine modems;  but
realistically, I cannot and will not believe that they are "so much
better" than the rest of the world, as many FRZs claim.  This sort of
stuff-up only serves to prove that point - anyone can fail, but to really
fuckup requires an EPROM burner.
