The "blue" packet is Aspartame/Nutrasweet, and the pink packet
is saccharine. It seems to be standard that any time I see
a saccharine product, it's in a pink packet. There are many
brands, and they all follow the same color scheme. (So far as
I've noticed).
I don't mind the Aspartame in Diet Coke. It's better than the
sugar stuff. Well. It's probably better FOR me, but the regular
Coke still tastes better. I prefer saccharine in hot drinks tho.
I'd like to try Stevia, but am not willing to "try" it with a
package costing approx $10. I wish some company would come out
with a smaller bottle in the $2-3 range.
It's "funny" how the USG has kept saccharine on the "bad" list
again. It seems to me that the other stuff has deeper questions
still on the slate.
