JW> Does anyone have one of these babies up and running? Or maybe a JW> Commodore 64? I'm just curious and feeling a little nostalgic. *** Hijacked thread alert! *** No, but I found what was seemingly a cast-iron suitcase in the used computer place's dumpster. Turned out to be an old Compaq so-called "portable". Has a blazing fast 8088 processor, massive 21.4Mb hard drive, more-than-you'll-ever-need 512k of RAM, dazzling multi-color (green and not-green) built-in monitor, and a keyboard that snaps onto (and becomes) the bottom. Even boots up (sometimes). * SLMR 2.1a * --- Maximus 3.01* Origin: The BandMaster, Vancouver, B.C., Canada (1:153/7715) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 153/7715 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
