What did you conclude from the tests of the 586 motherboards,
particularly the chipset detail across the UMC, SIS and ALI chipsets ?

Had a look at an ALI myself, pretty decent little board with a much
better than normal manual. Only real irritation was that the 72pin
SIMM slots were the usual rather flimsy plastic retaining clip style.
