 I figured I would pop in here and respond to your message, I am 21 years old 
and bought a used CAL 34 last December,  I have taken it out sailing many 
times and am getting ready to start cruising.  I am hoping that I will be 
able to train a crew here very soon and go up north to San Fransico or 
Catalina IS. I have been sailing since I was at least 8 years old, I started 
in Sabots, then bailed on them when my dad taught me how to sail our Hobie 16 
(Gee I wonder why!). I have also raced Lasers and the old Alpha One.  I do 
not race that often because when I get out to go sailing I go out to relax 
not to compete with anyone...
