   This being the first Eclectus that I have had, and having to do reading 
nd
questioning of people myself, I have found that the male and females are VERY 
different.  I got this guy because he was scalped by a female that they had 
out in his cage for breeding.  She was so aggressive to him, they said that 
they thought she would kill him.  When I got him, he was totally denuded 
except for his head.  He was vet checked, so I knew he wasn't sick or have 
parasites.  The reason that I purcharsed him was that he was such a 
sweetheart, and the price was VERY reasonable !!
