What is dayboot?

Whats the format of the dat file?

If it is pure ASCII 4DOS/4NT/4OS2 will read the DAT file its self.

SET BAUDR1=%@SUBSTR[%@LINE[E:\RA\NODE-%TASK%\DOBBS%TASK%.BAT,1],0,75]
SET COMP1=%@SUBSTR[%@LINE[E:\RA\NODE-%TASK%\DOBBS%TASK%.BAT,2],0,75]
SET TIME1=%@SUBSTR[%@LINE[E:\RA\NODE-%TASK%\DOBBS%TASK%.BAT,3],0,75]
SET NODE1=%@SUBSTR[%@LINE[E:\RA\NODE-%TASK%\DOBBS%TASK%.BAT,4],0,75]
SET ARQR1=%@SUBSTR[%@LINE[E:\RA\NODE-%TASK%\DOBBS%TASK%.BAT,5],0,75]

VAR TO STORE INFO
GET PART OF STRING IN FILE
FILE TO GET INFO FROM
LINE NUMBER IN FILE
STARTING CHAR IN FILE TO GET INFO
ENDING CHAR IN FILE TO GET INFO

If dayboot runs once everytime the PC is booted there some ways to do it and
make sure it is check every day.

If you run a BBS; in the BBS Event have ir run a BAT file, or in your mailer's
Event run a BAT file.

Incase the who;e BAT file in a IFF statement

If you are running an OS like WINDOWS that has a TASK MGR have it run a BAT
file
once a day. Creat a Task and set it for Daly.

Your AUTOEXEC.BAT can run the BAT file also.

@ECHO OFF
CLS
:
IFF "%@UPPER[%_DOW]" == "FRI" THEN
    .
    .
    .
ENDIFF

[EOF]

Hope this Helps,

Robert
