    Thanks for your input.  At the time I started this bbs, I was using an XT 
and I know that v3.x would not have worked on that computer, however, I have 
been fortunate to have various parts donated to me, so that now I am using a 
486/33 but there are not enough reasons for me to make the change.
     That fact about upgrades not being compatible is exactly what I dislike 
about some software.
