Use lvm to make sure that the partition you want to install w98 on is 
startable (bootable?).  It should then install   You will then have to 
boot from the eCS cd's to reinstall bootmanager and set the eCS and 
win98 systems up in it (though you may want to set the w2k as startable 
and reinstall it-apply fixpak- then go back and install bootmanager).
