BINGO!!  my system autoposts messages to netmail and echomail areas every
night as part of it's process and flow reporting. some reports are posted
to an echo that all my downlinks are "required" to carry for
informational purposes and problem discovery. on one day each month, my
system generates something line 18 - 20 different reports and then posts
them to echomail areas... my posting util has, under highly specific test
conditions, generated over 100 messages per second. on the above mentioned
day, those 10-20 reports are all posted generally within one second of
time.
