RC> > Does anyone have any tips on using DLLRNAME.EXE to rename the Visual Age > runtime DLLs? RC> Just follow the instructions in the on-line help. DLLRNAME is a rather limited solution, though, since you are constrained into choosing names that are the same length as the original DLL names. For a better solution, again follow the instructions in the on-line help, which show you how to link your own runtime DLL, which you can given any name that you like, using the module definition file supplied for the purpose. RC> Here's one. JBA Guidelines 3.3 ships with a renamed VisualAge C++ 3.00 runtime, called GCRTOI2D.DLL. You can obtain the shareware distribution of the Guidelines Base Pack from CompuServe (GO OS2AVEN), and from Fernwood (somewhere in the programming filebone echo), as GBASE3xx.ZIP. > JdeBP < ___ X MegaMail 2.10 #0: --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: DoNoR/2,Woking UK (44-1483-725167) (2:440/4) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 955 SEEN-BY: 712/407 515 517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 440/4 141/209 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
