JB> TW> ????? Sorry that "joke" went right over the head
of this old guy.

JB>Wasn't so much a joke. The prevailing wind is from the direction of

Wel if you are Serious I suspect the Changing ploorization of hte
signals bouncing off every thing arround you whilew driving woulr be
FAr more of a problem then and "Wind Bending" of the Signal, IF there
is anything at al in Analog Transmissions.
NOW soem years back when the Local County Sheriffs Department went form
their Old Analog 400 Mhz band radio system to the New Trunked 80 0Mez
digital systsm they embarised themslefes. Or at least the Idiot
Motorola installers. They put digital Radios in the Helicopter Fleet.
Guess What?? IF the Helicopter travels to fast transiting form place
ot palce the Doppler Effect makes the radio unusable. :-) :-)
Sheepishly they reinstalled a Analog/digital Capable radio. The analog
dide used for dispatching and the Digital side for on scene
communications with the officers o nthe ground.
