Hello Tom -

TW> Wel lit is HIGHLY overated as far as it's use by the LINUX
TW> novice.

Any version of windows would perplex a first-time computer
user. Every new version of windows brings out the 'stupid
questions' list here on FIDO. The more experienced are happy
campers until something won't set itself up using a 'wizard'
and then there are the times the entire windows OS vanishes and
the machine won't even boot.

Nothing is easy when using computers but pushing the 'on'
button - everything _after_ that is a wish-and-a-promise.

TW> And I don't understand why a "REAL" LINUX fan wouild even
TW> use it.

People use it to demo LINUX to those who can't or won't install
LINUX on their computer.

TW> Isin't it an Insult to their Intelegence??

The 'intelligence' of LINUX users is highly over-rated IMO. I
find that those who use BSD or some flavor of UNIX are the
intelligent *nix users.
