On April 4, 5, and 6, the Air Force Thunderbirds, Army Golden Knights, a
a squadron of restored Japanese Zeros, and the B-2 Stealth Bomber flew
at the Patrick Air Force Base Airshow here in Florida. Of all frequencies
that have been suggested for air shows, I verified activity on the
following six frequencies:
Thunderbirds:
322.95 for the Friday, April 4 practice. The Thunderbirds leader was
heard cuing the team through its flight maneuvers.
141.85 in AM mode, for the Saturday and Sunday, April 4 and 5 performance.
413.0 Thunderbirds maintenance personnel until late into night Friday
and Saturday.
Golden Knights:
123.0 jumping at Arthur Dunn Airport, north of Patrick Air Force Base
after the Airboss cancelled the Patrick jump due to winds.
Japanese Zeros:
123.475 leader cuing the team.
Show "Airboss":
125.45 throughout the show.
B-2 Stealth Bomber:
125.45 on Saturday spectacular flyover (right over my house). The Sunday
flyover was cancelled due to mechanical problems (which may have
accounted for much of the traffic on 413.0 late into the night
Saturday.
In addition, I am almost certain I heard air show reception on 394.4.
