What it is tried out (Constitutionally) really makes no difference. If the
gov't are lawbreakers (and they are) they will promote and do their own
agenda - even if it is clearly illegal and their actions will almost always
be uplheld before the courts (Supreme Court included).
The "forfeiture" actions are CLEARLY against the law but are now held as
legal. Widespread corruption in police depts are now routine and when
investigated a few patsies will take the fall for the higher ups.
And cops are VERY rarely sent to jail.
Even the DEA's own law judge ORDERED the DEA )or is it the FDA?)to reclassify
mj - they of course didn't.
You cannot hold lawbreakers accountable for their actions if the system is
inherently corrupt. (In short - you can't win).
I am curious to see what happens in CA and what will happen when the Feds get
involved in state laws. But since CA will fall into the ocean within a few
short years anyway it might not have much vbenefit over the long haul.
