Stephen Frazier gave up a long homer to Otis Nixon and said:
SF> Butler averaged about 40 stolen bases per year and was 44th on the all
SF> time stolen bases list as of four years ago. One of the worst in
SF> history, allright.
Butler's a career 69% stealer. Contrast this with Rickey Henderson and Vince
Coleman, who are 81%. Butler's best years have come when his attempts have
been limited.
SF> A guy who tries to steal more often will get picked off more often. You
SF> should know that.
Baloney. He got picked off FAR MORE than any other baserunner in the game.
None of the basestealers got caught with their head up their butts as often
as Butler.
SF> I guess we will continue to disagree on that too:)
Ok, Stephen, here's the challenge. Name all the major league organizations
that ARE better fundamentally than Atlanta.
