-> WC> No idea what this dated BIOS supports by way of DVD. -> If it supports booting from a CD-ROM then it will support booting from a -> DVD-ROM. They both are ATAPI unless they are SCSI. OK this I didn't know. -> I have built both bootable CD's and DVD's and there is no difference other then -> the formatting when buring them which should be of no consequence if you don't -> ever plan on building iso's. Burning them is a slightly different story This I suspected. -> but -> seeing you're just using someone else's root/boot (live version) then I'd take -> that issue up with them if it is a problem. -> The live version of ttylinux works great and isn't bloated. Mind you no GUI -> stuff so it doesn't have to be bloated. :-) Heard of it but no details. I'll have to google for it and see what turns up. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
