Not really. I think MINIX and LINUX were developed for those
who could not afford the real UNIX OS and hardware required to
install/use UNIX some years ago.

If I stopped installing additonal software and only ran with
what I have installed now I think my W2K could run for a year
or more without a reboot. I've gone for six months (approx)
before and wasn't trying to avoid problems really.
