There were also those who felt that the numbers were too high, i.e.
that quorum could not be achieved without herculean effort. I don't
know how many of the RC's, NC's or sysops in the nodelist actually
exist as active members of fidonet, but I know that many of them do
not. Voter participation in fidonet elections is often at the 10%
level or lower, although I have heard of a few elections with
participation as high as 25%.
