If any of the definitions of "straight" don't seem applicable, or you don't
subscribe to the control paradigm of a list of word definitions, how about a
practical example?

I'm a sysop looking to add an echo to my system. I log onto another sysop's
system and see an echo with some activity. I want to add that echo to my
system, and in order to do so, I need to find out what the echo tag is and an
available source for that echo.
