The bigger issue in the room is that Fidonet is slowly dying off and we have so
many dead echoes that finding an echo with current content is a challenge for
users.

I'd love a Fidonet where the technology allowed for an all-in setting with all
echoes available turned on from the uplink, and the BBS set to auto-add echoes
as they show up (and auto-delete echoes) after a set period of inactivity.
