The latest version is: version: 5.03.61 and hasn't been updated in 2-3
years or so.*
*It has current virus def's. It does not do realtime scan as the
windows version does. My understanding is that NAV is/was supposed to
be a good product but I don't know how important it is for the engine to
be updated. What I like about NAV is that it is fairly innocuous. It
just sits there until it is either runs on schedule or you tell it to
run. It does have realtime scan in dos now that I think about it but I
so rarely have use of dos anymore that I don't think about it.
Currently I am debating whether I want to go to Norman antivirus or
stick with NAV for my personal machines.
