I just noticed that when running the remaining two DOS programs I have
(DACEASY PAYROLL & DACEASY ACCOUNTING) the cpu meter on the ecenter is
pegged at 99.9%. I didn't use a cpu meter on eCS1.0 so I booted to it
and it was the same, maybe it was that way under Warp also I don't know.
I did notice on odd thing. Each program has an option to backup its
data files to floppies from inside the program. When I do a backup the
cpu meter drops to between 1 and 3% most of the time with an occasional
spike back to 99,9% but 90%+ of the time it is down aroung 1 to 3%
during the backup.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and can some setting
maybe be tweaked to correct it. I left all the DOS setting at their
defaults after installing eCS1.1.
Thanks, Jim
