Well, I have SCSI, IDE and RLL (yes, believe it or not) drives
running here.  Some of them are over a gig (but not the RLL one,
obviously).
I'd be glad to give a quick shot at testing this if you will.
Just compress it and send it to my system at the address below
or through internet at:
 glefranc@videotron.ca
and make sure it is virus free or you'll have to:
