I wish I still had a rig with AM in it.
Used to like to listen to shortwave and the boys on 3885 some nights.
When you get it all ready to go take a listen on 3745 on a Saturday around
3pm Eastern for the Canadian Boat-Anchor Net.
All sorts of classic AM capable rigs can be heard there from all over
ntario
and Quebec. Net control is usually VA3ES,Ed here in Ottawa.

Farthest I have been on 6m ssb is the Texas and Oklahoma border to the west,
and into the South Florida area.
2m being a bit of a long haul for me the farthes I get it is about
