Looks like Paul's buggy USR has magically fixed itself then.  Either that
or he's finally figured out how to use it...

The V.32bis connect was actually my fault, as I'd disabled V.8 (i.e. V.34).
 This means that you've been connecting perfectly with that heap-of-shit
buggy USR of his without realising it.  

Wonder if the imminent NetComm will connect OK at V.32terbo?  ROFL!  :)
