ftools maint -d

in my case ftoolsw3 maint -d

the -d or /D switch will use the info in the area manager so if you have it
for days old or # of messages it will clean it all up... works wonderfuly.

Netmail maint is a different story... it won't perform any functions other
than renumbering your directory... I don't use it.
