Have you heard this album? Is it any good?

I recently listened to the Naked City album by Zorn with
Bill Friesell on guitar and Fred Frith on bass. Frith can
now play bass like a bass player instead of like a
guitarist but it's kind of a waste since he's a much
better guitarist than Frisell, IMO. Still, it's an
interesting album, well played. Perhaps a bit too clever
in a New York soho loft kind of way. I'm not sure I like
it, though I recognise it's well made.
IS> kind of mr. bungle but horns are much dominant.
That sounds really interesting. Soh Band, huh?
IS> i also listened boud deun about which i only heard positive reviews.
IS> they are very weak, boring
THat's what I'm starting to hear from people, very mixed
reviews.
Then again I expected to hate the last Echolyn album
since all of the reviews were bad and I found I enjoyed
it. Guess I'll have to check them out for myself.
Cheers,
Kenneth
