Sun is back out again, Wayne.

WC> I've got an old Canon BJ-200 and I just use hot water on a lint free

This warning is somehow " balooney ". When nothing else brings a
tnak back to life, I use a soft eraser and rub the contacts
clean. After all this is a last ditch effort but it has brought
back to life many a printhead.

I also found out that it will take a few hours, overnight, to
let the injected ink sink down or spread in that sponge before
good printouts are obtained. So, as you do, I fill it up,
replace that jalously salvaged plastic clip over the injector
and let it sit out until tomorrow and then try it out. I also
have these Canon head cassettes that has this pad at the bottom
of them and the lock down cover. They are intended to keep all
in shape and allow colour to BW to colour tank exchange, at
will. Two cassettes and four clips so far. Still collecting.

That Canon 200 is a very worthy printer. My first inkjet and I
am still sorry that I gave it away. It would have been a fine
spare to the Canon 4000 but never so far, needed.
