Hey, no apologies necessary. Just glad you got the article. Keep the
site in mind. They have lots of good things there.
Yes, they did nit pick some. However, the article does show up Word's
shortcomings.
I just loaded Word Perfect Suite 8 on my system. So far, I like 7 much
better. It appears to me that many of their "improvements" are
really steps backward. Maybe after I dig into 8 a bit more I'll change
my mind.
I've been using WP since version 4.0, I believe it was. Been so long ago
I get a bit hazy. I keep trying all the other ones, and still stay with
WP mainly because I find too many things the others are not able to do
that WP can do.
I use Word Perfect 7/8, Pagemaker 6.5 and QuarkXpress 3.32 extensively.
Each will do things that the others can not do or can not do as well.
For example, WP 7/8 will print booklets far easier than QuarkXpress
3.32. I gave up trying in Pagemaker 6.5.
Of course Pagemaker and Quark do lots of things that WP isn't too good
at, ergo, the reason I use all three.
